3rd ONE DAY DISTRICT LEVEL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AT PATEL NAGAR, NAWADA

The third one-day district-level training workshop was conducted on 22nd February 2020 covering various issues related to the empowerment of persons with disabilities. The training workshop was organized, sponsored and fully supported by the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai in association with NIRMAN Foundation, Nawada. NIEPMD comes under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and serves as a national resource center for the empowerment of persons with Multiple Disabilities. 120 people participated in the training workshop conducted at Sumangalam Hall, Patel Nagar, Nawada. The training workshop especially focused on the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
